I am a certified Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) clinician who has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with a wide range of behavioral and emotional difficulties. Common issues include:
- Mood swings
- Low self-esteem
- Temper tantrums

- Problems making/keeping friends
Family therapy is focused on increasing communication between family members, strengthening the attachment and connection between parents and children, and learning ways to solve problems and manage stressors. Family therapy is often beneficial if there is a change in the family (e.g., new child, move, divorce, death of a loved one, etc.) or if there is high conflict between family members.
Parenting can be challenging, stressful, confusing, and exhausting. You are the expert with regards to parenting your children, but I am available to provide you with support around managing stress/anxiety associated with parenting. I firmly believe that in order to truly take care of our loved ones, we must first care for ourselves.
I am an accredited Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) provider, which is an evidenced based, international award winning parenting program aimed at assisting parents manage their child or adolescent’s problematic and difficult behaviors (e.g., tantrums, defiance, aggression, bed wetting, etc.). I teach effective behavioral interventions to parents, which helps improve children’s behavior and functioning at home and at school.
Individual therapy enables children and adolescents to have a safe place to understand and express feelings and frequently helps youth improve their self esteem and mood and decrease anxiety. Treatment interventions often include teaching relaxation/anxiety reduction techniques, coping skills, problem solving, anger management skills, and social skill building activities.
