I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 24745) with ten years of experience in providing mental health services to adults, children, and adolescents. I earned my doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the University of Denver, an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program. My graduate training included year long rotations in the following settings: a residential and day treatment youth center, elementary school, outpatient mental health clinic, non-profit counseling center, and community mental health center. I completed an APA accredited internship at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, a non-profit community mental health center that provides therapy and assessment to under-served, culturally diverse adults, youth, and families.
I have extensive experience working with culturally diverse individuals and value the importance of understanding each person's unique values, beliefs, and needs. I have worked with GLBTQ youth and adults, immigrant families, and gay and lesbian parents/couples. It is extremely important for the individuals I work with to feel safe, supported, and comfortable.
I recently moved from Los Angeles to Sacramento and am enjoying the beautiful scenery and wonderful people in Northern California. I value to the importance of self care and spend my free time with friends and family, exercising, and relaxing.
I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me and my work and I hope to be of help to you in the future.
